Triple H & The Rock Respond To Director Michael Bay
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was forced to miss Monday night’s Los Angeles premiere of his latest film, Pain & Gain, due to an emergency hernia operation earlier in the day. Speaking to E! Online on the red carpet, movie director Michael Bay suggested the injury stemmed from Johnson’s wrestling exploits.
“He was pushing it too hard,” Bay said. “[He] needs to grow up and stop wrestling 300-pound men.”
Johnson responded to Bay’s remark via Twitter this afternoon, writing,“Funny sh*t! Michael Bay joked I should stop wrestling 300lb men. I agree – I’ll switch to women. #ALLPainNOGain.”
Triple H also responded with the following tweet of his own:
“@Loug30: @TripleH @StephMcMahon @JRsBBQ Michael Bay saying @TheRock needs to grow up, and stop wrestling 300 pound men?” Who’s 300lbs???
Michael Bay wants y’all to chill out. As you know, the Pain & Gain director said in a video interview that The Rock needed to “grow up and stop wrestling 300 pound men” after missing the film’s premiere due to his WrestleMania injury. Apparently that incensed some people, as Bay felt the need to address the situation on his official website, posting:
“Wrestling fans, it was a joke said on Entertainment Tonight–with a laugh. You can see the clip for yourselves. The most important person to see the on-air joke was Dwayne. I love seeing The Rockwrestle. I hope he wrestles 10 more years. I joked on air because Dwayne was not at our LA premiere due to his injury.”
Is Rosa Mendes In Danger Of Being Fired From WWE?
Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter
News surfaced this week that Milena Roucka, known as Rosa Mendes, was sent home from WWE’s ongoing European tour. The sports-entertainment organization issued a statement to online news outlets stating, “Milena Roucka (Rosa Mendes) left the international tour for personal reasons.”
According to sources, the 33-year-old had been “partying too much on the tour,” with one company source describing her as “a mess.” Talent and other employees were under the belief that she would probably not rejoin the company on the road for a while, but that she has not been suspended.
We’re told the WWE Diva has a history of similar issues, which prompted company officials to send her back home.
Mendes addressed the matter Monday afternoon via Twitter, writing,“Just wanted to let all my #Mendesluverz that I’m ok. I had to take care of some personal matters. Thank you for all your support. Love you.”
Mendes manages the real-life cousin tandem of Primo and Epico, and is considered the star of the group due to her appearance and charisma. Though Primo and Epico are well-liked within the company and considered good workers, the general feeling is that they lack charisma and therefore aren’t heavily promoted.

Cody Rhodes Wants To Face Morgan Freeman
Cody Rhodes has challenged Morgan Freeman to a wrestling duel.
When asked which celebrity he would like to wrestle, the WWE Superstar said the famous actor, film director, and narrator could lend his authoritative voice to the bout.
“Morgan Freeman, because I feel like I could win because he’s old; although I’m sure he’s tough,” Rhodes told www.tv3.ie in an interview promoting WWE’s annual November tour of the UK. “But then we could sell it and he could narrate the match, like he narrates everything. He could explain everything because he’s such a great storyteller he could tell the story of me beating him. That would be wonderful.”
While Rhodes initially pursued an acting career in Hollywood before officially entering the family business in 2006, he has no ambitions to launch a career now.
“I always said absolutely not, but if a man was to walk in and tell me, ‘Alright, you’re going to be in ‘Fast and the Furious 35′, for instance, I’d be running with him,” said Rhodes. “I would only want to do it as a pro wrestler, like Cody Rhodes from WWE in something, because my home is the ring, I don’t really have any ambition to platform into another form of entertainment.”

The Rock Denies Using Steroids For Pain & Gain
During a recent interview, The Rock was asked about using steroids to get in proper shape for Pain and Gain. Here is a excerpt from that interview…
“Oh, no,” Johnson told USA Today when asked whether he used steroids, before quipping to co-star Mark Wahlberg, “How about you? You did all kinds.” Wahlberg replied, “What?” Steroids? No. I don’t (mess) with those.”
Rock further commented on maintaining the bulk for so long, noting the following…
“It wasn’t that easy. It was a lot of protein and growth naps (laughs). I would say the hardest thing was probably the schedule at that time that I had to keep between having a big match down in Miami for WrestleMania and preparing for this.”
