Mickie James Wins The TNA Knockouts Title
Mickie James has captured title gold once again as she defeated Velvet Sky on Thursday night’s episode of iMPACT! Wrestling to regain the TNAWomen’s Knockout Championship for a third time.
As the match concluded, Velvet went for a flying headscissors, but hurt her ailing knee further while attempting the maneuver. James subsequently clipped Velvet’s knee and hit her with a DDT to score the pinfall victory and the title.
Villainous and absent-due-to-pregnancy Knockout Madison Rayne praised James for her move. She wrote on Twitter, “FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY!!!! @MickieJames showed her pissed off side! Even saw a momentary look of craziness on her face!!!”
Between WWE and TNA Wrestling, James is now a record-setting nine-time female champion in national wrestling (she is trailed by Trish Stratus, who held the WWE Women’s Championship seven times). She is also the only person to hold the WWE Women’s, WWE Divas and TNA Knockout Championships in wrestling history.

TNA Wrestling has teamed up with Always Evolve to create one of the most revolutionary fitness applications on the market. Hulk Hogan teases coming out of retirement
Prior to tonight’s TNA Impact taping in Tampa, Florida, Hulk Hogan teased coming out of retirement to wrestle again.
“You never say never, brother,” Hogan told the Orlando Sentinel. “The only thing the doctors know is what they know. They don’t know what The Big Man Upstairs says, and I’m on His team. Anything is possible. I still get the itch to get in (the ring) and I still love the business.”
Hogan teased being part of a six-man tag match, which TNA teased earlier this year before running an injury angle that took Hogan out of the match.
“You can always put ol’ Hulk in a six-man tag and let me clear the ring out, you know what I mean? I don’t have to get out there and wrestle for an hour,” Hogan said. “People just want to see me with ripped shirt, posed down and sucker punching a few guys.”
