Bruno Sammartino revealed in a recent interview that he was being paid $5,000 to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. This has remained the usual price for those entering WWE’s Hall of Fame with presenters receiving $2,500. While Sammartino was accurate in making the figure public, the deal he actually agreed to with WWE was closer to a “Wrestlemania top star payoff”.
While the actual figure isn’t known, it isn’t believed to be at the levels of what a John Cena, Brock Lesnar or The Rock would receive. However, Sammartino is definitely getting much more to be part of the Hall of Fame than anyone to date. He is also expected to be featured as a character in the new WWE 2K14 video game.
A TNA Video Game Update
There is new information on TNA’s talks with Activision for a new video game. The discussion is at a “semi-advanced stage” for Activision to acquire the license. If a deal is agreed upon, the new game will likely be ready in time for the Playstation 4.
The Rock’s Box Office #’s
Snitch, starring The Rock did an estimated $4.1 million at the box office yesterday. The film is expected to bring in $12 million this weekend.
Hulk Hogan Says He Has A New Reality Show In The Works
Hulk Hogan claims he has a new realty TV show being set up.
He tweeted: “Very grateful for attracting a new reality show where I get to work with family and a few good friends that always wanted to be in show biz. I’ll keep the Maniacs updated during the hard work make it real process.”
He also responded to a question about “bashing” Bret Hart in an interview. He said: “Didn’t bash him, but its funny how the interviewer changes words when he writes the story to sell it to you or anyone that believes anything that is written, but I understand that is the only view you are getting of the situation.”

Ric Flair at NXT today
Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is scheduled to appear at Sunday night’s WWE Developmental NXT show in Melbourne, Florida.
Flair is joining his daughter, WWE Diva Charlotte, for a pre-show autograph session. The session kicks off at 4:00 p.m. EST for Gold Circle ticketholders.
As for Flair’s involvement during the actual NXT show, Charlotte told Florida Today that it’s a surprise.
“I can’t tell you,” she said. “It’ll have to be a surprise. I can assure you there will be a lot of ‘woos!’”
