Mainstream Press Picks Up WWE Creative Leak Story
NPR has an article up focusing on the previously-reported news that WWE apparently has a source delivering information on storylines and other creative decisions to Reddit. The article notes that the situation “could end up affecting both the multibillion-dollar pro wrestling industry and the betting it supports, which has been on the rise in recent years.”

Bruce Prichard & D-Lo Brown Gone From TNA
Bruce Prichard is officially gone from TNA. TNA released Prichard, who was Senior Vice President of Programming & Talent Relations, today. As previously reported, there were several issues with Prichard including his stalling out contract negotiations to the point that some, such as Drew Hankinson and RVD, had expired.
Also officially released was D’Lo Brown, who had been an agent with the the company since 2009 and was also in charge of the Gutcheck tryouts.
Why Randy Orton Won The MITB Briefcase

The decision for Randy Orton to win the briefcase at the MITB pay-per-view was made between two to three weeks ago.
According to sources, the WWE creative team made the decision because not many people were expecting Orton to win the match. It also puts him back into the main event scene again.
Ric Flair Reveals Why He Didn’t Pay Spousal Support
Ric Flair was recently asked about why he was late paying his estranged wife Jacqueline Beems spousal support. Here is what Flair had to say…
“The reason I didn’t pay my ex-wife the 32 grand is because my son died and I was in the hospital for a month. I was in the hospital for a month with a blood clot. I didn’t go to work for three months.”
WWE To Announce Multiple WrestleMania Locations

Word is that the WWE will announce the locations for WrestleMania 31 and 32 at the same time. At this time, the announcements aren’t expected to come until we get into WrestleMania XXX season.
Some of the cities in the running to host the events are Dallas, New Orleans, Chicago, Philadelphia, the San Francisco Bay area and Los Angeles.

10 AM – Mattel presents An Evolution of the Modern Action Figure - WWEand Mattel representatives will discuss WWE’s involvement with Mattel among other topics presented by Mattel.
1 PM - WWE and Mattel Bring the Action – A WWE-centric Mattel panel featuring Mattel executives revealing what’s next for the WWE action figure line plus The Miz and Dolph Ziggler doing a live Miz TV and more.
8 PM – “Not So Strange Bedfellows: The Relationship Between Comics and Pro Wrestling.” - WWE’s Rob Van Dam will take part in a panel discussion on the relationship between comics and pro wrestling as well as their similarities and character development. Former PWG star turned comic artist Scott Lost, Rik Offenberger (First Comic News.com), Francis Szyskowski (The Massacre Twins), Todd Tochioka (Working Snug.com), and Joshua Waldrop (M1W Entertainment) will also take part.
12:15 PM – Former WWE World champ Dave Bautista appearing on a panel discussing the upcoming film “Riddick” starring Vin Diesel.
3 PM -WWE Hall of Famer Edge will be appearing on a panel to promote the upcoming fourth season of Syfy’s “Haven”.
Thursday 7/18 3 PM – Miz and Dolph Ziggler signing at Mattel’s booth.
Friday 7/19 11 AM - Mick Foley, Daniel Bryan and Rey Mysterio signing at Mattel’s booth.

IWGP Tag Champs coming to U.S. in October
As part of the growing NWA-New Japan Pro Wrestling relationship, IWGP World tag champions Hiroyoshi Tenzan and Satoshi Kojima are coming to the United States in October.
Kojima & Tenzan are scheduled for an NWA Houston show on October 18, then a Branded Outlaw Wrestling show in San Antonio on Oct. 19.
NWA announced the bookings this week. Their opponents were not announced.
Kojima & Tenzan captured the IWGP Tag Titles from Lance Archer & Davey Boy Smith, Jr. in May in Japan. This followed Archer & Smith successfully defending the Tag Titles at an NWA Houston show in April.
D’Lo Brown Comments On His Release From TNA
I guess it’s time to address the rumors surrounding me over the last few days. It is true that my employment with TNA has come to an end. I consider myself fortunate to have worked so closely with some of the best up and coming talent in the business. I also had the privilege to work closely with some of the greatest this industry has produced.
I can tell you this for sure I will miss sharing a locker room with some of the most genuine men and women (you know who you are) that I have ever been around.
I want to say thank you to the many fans that have shown support for me over the years.
I will keep everyone updated on what my future plans are.

Ric Flair Update
According to The Baxter Bulletin, Ric Flair has not paid any of the $32,000 in spousal support that he owes ex-wife Jacqueline Beems. This is according to Beems’ lawyer. If Flair does not make payment, he could be arrested. You can almost guarantee that Flair will wait until the last possible minute to pay it off as the two are on very bad terms these days.
