– Roddy Piper has pulled out of scheduled signings for this weekend. Piper told those in charge of the signings that he was pulling out due to a WWEconflict, making it possible that he appears at Survivor Series.
TNA Final Resolution Main Event Revealed
Jeff Hardy will defend the TNA World Title against Bobby Roode at TNAFinal Resolution.
This Thursday night’s TNA iMPACT! broadcast will include a full show-long angle explaining how Roode gets the title shot instead of James Storm, who became the #1 contender at Turning Point.
Rock rumored for movie shoot before WM29
Middle Eastern newspapers are reporting that “The Rock” Dwayne Johnson will be filming a new movie in March 2013 in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. If the rumored movie role comes to fruition, it could affect his involvement in pre-WrestleMania 29 hype.
The movie is a $90 million re-make of “Arabian Nights” rumored to be starring Anthony Hopkins and Zac Efron.
Rock is also scheduled to film another major movie, “Hercules,” in early 2013.
Edge reveals WM29 status
Retired WWE wrestler Edge (Adam Copeland) said he will not be involved in WrestleMania 29 events and made it seem like he’s tired of talking about WWE in a series of tweets Monday night.
Asked if he keeps up with Raw, Edge said, “Not really.” Asked if he misses wrestling at all, Edge said, “Just crowd reactions. Nothing else.” Asked if he’s a free agent, Edge said, “My own man.” Asked about cutting his hair post-WWE, Edge said, “I own my head and felt like it, which I’ve now answered ad infinitum.”
Asked if he’s signed to any type of WWE contract, Edge replied, “Don’t even know what a ‘legends contract’ is. Not on a legend, non legend, mid card, or janitor contract.”
CM Punk and Paul Heyman Tweet About the Lawler Heart Attack Angle on RAW
WWE has come under fire from some fans online for last night’s RAW where they aired the video of EMT’s working on Jerry Lawler after his recent heart attack. Fans are also voicing their concern over the angle with CM Punk and Paul Heyman mocked Lawler’s heart attack.
Punk, Heyman and JBLhave beentweeting about the angle since last night’s RAW ended. Here are some comments:
